Pea and haloumi fritters

I like peas. I like haloumi. I like green goo.

Mix them all together and you get pea and haloumi fritters (note: I’ve discovered that has some of the recipes from the Delicious book in there… which stands to reason… so I’ll be linking to the recipe when there’s one available.)

The batter was pretty runny, so the fritters were a bit flat (next time less milk perhaps). Also a very vibrant, martian green. You might even say pea-green. Ha.

I couldn’t bring myself to pay for vine-ripened tomatoes on the vine, especially after shelling out for a big pile of squeaky cheese, so instead we had a random salad.

So not so much like the picture.

But tasty. And squeaky. And green.
